Weekly Retrospective #8

Culture πŸ“–πŸ‘¨β€πŸ«

We have implemented two processes inside our company to help us sharpen our soft skills and keep us aligned with the same vision: book reading and public speaking. Book reading consists in one commonly agreed book to be read by all of us over an period of time (e.g. 2 months). Public speaking consists in holding a presentation about any given subject, over a shorter period of time (e.g. 2 weeks - 1 month).

For the beginning, on the book reading side we will be focusing on Startups/Entrepreneurship, first book being The Lean Startup: How Today's Entrepreneurs Use Continuous Innovation to Create Radically Successful Businesses

On the public speaking side we will be focusing on anything that we deem personally to be beneficial to the other participants such as best practices in any domain, first presentation being based on Thinking, Fast and Slow and centered on critical and intuitive thinking.

Coin Aggregators πŸ”Ž

Four coin aggregators added us on their website, so you can now see real time statistics of our HELP token, on LiveCoinWatch, CoinCodex, CoinGecko, CoinLib.

Regarding CoinMarketCap, we were suggested to re-apply after our beta release in September.

Development & Operations πŸŒπŸ‘·

All the hard work in research & development paid off and we have now implemented a standard process that enables fast delivery thanks to the concept of immutable infrastructure (once a service is deployed, the infrastructure it's running on is never touched again by human hands). As Daniel promised on his theoretical foundation article, he will follow up soon with a practical implementation article that will describe all the processes and technologies we have adopted.

On the client side, we have adopted the Google Maps Places SDK for location management on both iOS and Web applications.

New Website In Progress πŸ’»βœ…

A new website is being developed. As we are discussing and testing new UI(user interface) and UX(user experience) models, some decisions need feedback from the community. Here we will be asking in the following weeks for your opinions regarding certain key elements of the new website, such as logo branding and more.
